I've always taken my Ghost to the dealer for everything, but the last quote for suspension work was so high that I'm finally considering alternatives. The problem is I don't know whether an independent can actually handle a Rolls properly or if this is one of those cars where you just have to accept dealer pricing. I want to view this page to see what a specialist actually offers before deciding, but I'd rather hear from owners who've gone independent. Did you find someone who genuinely knew the car, or did you end up going back to the dealer because the savings weren't worth the risk? Also, what happens with things like genuine parts and warranty if you're not at the dealer? I'd rather understand the trade-offs before making a decision.
